In the beginning was the void,
And it was called null space.
There was movement on the face of the void,
And this movement concentrated.
Thus from the void,
Came the dot.
Between the dot and the void,
Came definition.
With definition, came difference,
With difference, came pattern.
Definition also gave rise to domain.
Pattern also gave rise to system.
From these came unto the world,
The top level, which brought the zones.
The zones turned inward and developed,
They turned outward and corporated.
Thus became the generic and the country,
For these are the ones who shall be named.
This is the birth of the name space,
This is the death of the hosts.
This is the Alpha and the Omega,
As at home IN CHaos as in Hesiod.
This is only and entirely the named,
Binding IP together.
Spurn not these great works and,
they shall not spurn you.
For truly if you care not for a bit of this,
Then this will care not for your bits.
Only with understanding and respect,
can one navigate the path this form creates.
